 MUD
has numerous opportunities for enthusiastic volunteers. Come in
and visit us and we'll help you create the ideal job for your interests
and skills.
Volunteer opportunities include:
- Event
organizers (for MUDDIGRAS, Llama Manure Sale, Garden Party, etc.)
- Carpenters
needed to build storage shed, signage, and/or garden beds.
- Garden
planting & watering.
- Fundraising:
membership drive, canvassing.
- Office
work: flier posting, data entry, phoning, mailing, etc.
- Special
projects that YOU design!
Internships can be taken through the University of Montana and applied to a project
of your interest at MUD. You can also earn an education award from
Americorps--typically $1,250 for 450 hours of volunteering (to be
completed within a calendar year). The awards apply to college tuition,
either past (loans), current, or future. We
currently have a Tool Library Assistant position available.
