Youth Education Program in Sustainability (YEP!) Assistant
Position Description:
1 position; 1-5+ hours/week; volunteer (no wages)
FUN work, with lots of room for creativity, these positions offer a great opportunity to students interested in working with children and looking to gain or improve their skills as an educator. MUD's YEP! is the only Missoula-area program offering holistic sustainable living education to children, meaning you'll be involved with a critical education effort, and receive training from other experienced MUD volunteers and staff!
Volunteers will also assist YEP! Program Coordinator in developing curriculum, compiling education materials and trunks (for loan to local educators), establishing partnership with local public and school-based libraries r.e. suggested reading lists, education resources, etc., enhancement of MUD’s native plant garden for education purposes, and in teaching school groups.
