MUD Workshops have provided Missoulians hands-on experience with self-reliance since 1984. Today, our workshops still teach topics that enable you to live lighter on the land and lighter on your budget. Workshops include a start-to-finish gardening series, beer brewing, cheese making, small engine repair, basic auto mechanics, alternative energy and building technologies, and more! Two hour hands-on workshops introduce beginners to various skills and knowledge, as well as providing more experienced folks with an opportunity to share their knowledge and discuss topics in greater depth with local experts. Participants always receive hand outs with resources, step-by-step instructions (if pertinent), and a sense of confidence in their ability to go home and do it again. These workshops are for YOU, so feel free to contact MUD with suggestions for future workshop topics or instructors.
