MUD offers a number of programs to assist the Missoula community with basic backyard sustainability efforts. See our program mission statements below, and find out more about each program by clicking on the program titles (or use the drop down menu at the top of the website).

PROGRAM MISSION STATEMENTS
MUD's Backyard Sustainability Workshop Series
educates Missoulians through hands-on learning opportunities which encourage integrating sustainable practices into daily life.

MUD’s Tool Library
demonstrates sustainable living by sharing tools, resources and knowledge, enabling MUD members to improve their lives and homes and become more self-sufficient.

MUD's Truck Share
demonstrates sustainable living by providing MUD members an alternative, shared transportation option to assist with personal projects and reduce the need for individual vehicle ownership.

MUD’s Urban Sustainable Living Demonstration Site
showcases real-world sustainable living practices and designs in a publicly accessible residential neighborhood setting.

MUD’s Youth Education Program in Sustainability
educates Missoula-area students through fun, community-based sustainable living experiences, fostering an appreciation of these ideals and practices at an early age.
