MUD's mission is to demonstrate sustainable living.
Part of our demonstration site is our residence program. Living and
working in the same place uses less energy, can be economically
beneficial, and works to "close the loop." MUD residents rent from
MUD, live on-site, participate in our work-for-rent program, and
are involved with site maintenance and repair, on-going site
projects such as the garden and chickens, and other MUD
programs.
MUD is a semi-public site, so residents should expect to interact
with the public, serving as positive representatives of MUD. At
this time, the only restrooms available on-site are in the houses,
so residents are asked to share their restrooms when necessary.
Since MUD is open to the public during scheduled office and Tool
Library hours, MUD residents work to maintain a tidy and clean
appearance in the gardens and houses.
BENEFITS OF LIVING AT MUD:
