Montana Department of Environmental Quality, Waste Reduction and Recycling Program: promotes the reduction, reuse, recycling, and composting of wastes, and works to expand the business markets and opportunities to use these wastes productively. The Bureau tracks waste reduction and recycling activities across the state, acts as a central contact regarding these activities, and provides technical assistance to businesses, industry, communities, and individuals. The Bureau also works to conserve resources and reduce the toxicity and amount of materials that go into Montana landfills in accordance with the prioritized waste management practices outlined in the Montana Integrated Waste Management Act of 1991.
Montana Environmental Information Center: Founded by concerned Montanans in 1973 to protect and restore Montana's natural environment, the MEIC is a member-supported statewide advocacy and public education organization. Helena, MT.
Montana Hunting and Fishing Journal: A collaborative effort of the National Wildlife Federation's Northern Rockies Field Office and the Montana Wildlife Federation.
