For one year, two Missoulians ate only foods grown within 100-miles to stretch themselves to the limit of eating locally. They will be sharing what they learned about what can be grown locally, how you prepare and keep it for the winter (canning, freezing, dehydrating, etc.), and where to find the best bang for your buck. AND they will share great all-local snacks that participants can replicate for themselves! Whether you are a die-hard locavore or just starting to eat locally or freeze, can, or dehydrate for the winter, this workshop will aid you in your pursuits. Join us for great food and fun stories of a year at the center of a 100-mile circle.
Workshops are $10 for MUD member and $20 for non-MUD members. To register please call the MUD office at 406-721-7513, email info@mudproject.org, or follow the link below to pay using a credit card.
