The MUD Project, Missoula
Urban Demonstration Project is hosting the 2nd Annual Earth
Day Celebration at Caras Park on April 20th from 12-7 pm.
This event will feature a wide variety of exhibits from
local organizations and businesses that promote
sustainability. Other activities include a diverse line up
of live music, local beer, wine, and food, as well as
interactive workshops for children. The celebration will
feature Glaszilla, the mobile glass pulverizer, for
community members to recycle their glass bottles. The bulk
of the pulverized glass will be going to the Missoula
Federal Credit Union's new building on Russell St. and the
bank has requested the glass bottles be clean and separated.
